Class 20 D8098 (20098)

This locomotive has been continuing to provide stirling service. There was a small hiccup on the last run of the GCR's 1960's Gala, when on leaving Quorn there was a complete loss of power. This was rectified at the last working day.

This locomotive is due to be repainted this year.

Class 31 D5830 (31563)

D5830 has been brought out of it's winter hibernation, has been greased up and had the motor brushes checked for wear. After testing the locomotive, a brake piston was removed and a new seal fitted to rectify an air leak. At the same time, work was undertaken to remake a joint in the pipework on one side of the one of the bogies.

This locomotive is also due to be repainted this year, retaining it's Golden Ochre livery.

Class 47 D1705 (47117)

D1705 has had it's bogies and brakes greased up and the motor brushes checked following the winter period.
